Could a Young Guy keep doing his career chasing his dream. I'd like to think so. Regardless, here's what you need to know:

My name is Jeff Lee. After I obtaining my bachelor degree in Recording Art at the Beijing Film Academy in 2012, I have been honing my professional skills and creative instinct to thrive into one of the essential sound engineers at China Film Post Production Co. (CFP), an integral part of the largest film production and distribution company-China Film Group.Over the past few years, I have participated in the recording and dialogue editing work for over twenty films, which enables me to develop a more profound understanding of the production process.

During this period, especially between MEthe year of 2013 and 2014, I have been blessed with the opportunities to communicate with foreign production teams on many occasions thanks to the increasing collaboration between China and oversea teams. The stark contrast has transformed my perceived view of production team structures and work process. So I choise to go to AFI (Americian Film Institute), Editing MFA's Program to enlarge my views.

Such decision marks one of the most meaningful turns in my life; in turn, my capabilities and potentials have also provided sufficient guarantee for my smooth transition. To begin with, my academic study and works during both BFA and CFG have laid out a solid foundation in post-production practices such as recording, editing and addition of soundtracks, as well as a preliminary understanding of relevant aspects of the film, TV, and new media industries, including script analysis, development, budgeting, marketing and distribution.
